Red zone created in Islamabad, orders to shoot protesters on sight

Imran Khan’s supporters in Pakistan have increased the problems of Shahbaz Sharif government. Workers of ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’ (PTI) have started a big movement demanding Khan’s release from jail. PTI workers from across the country are marching towards Islamabad due to which the situation is getting out of control. There are also reports of violence from many places. Following Imran Khan’s order, they are headed to the capital to hold ‘do or die’ protests against the current government from Sunday. Many PTI workers have also reached inside the capital Islamabad.

In view of the demonstration by PTI supporters, a red zone has been created in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. Pakistani army has been deployed in the red zone. The red zone houses government offices, the Prime Minister’s residence, Parliament and embassies. Clear orders have been given that any protestor seen around the Red Zone should be shot on sight. The number of protesters is more than 30,000. Imran Khan’s supporters have also entered Islamabad in large numbers.

Meanwhile, let us also tell you here that the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf met Imran Khan in Adiala Jail on Monday. Khan, 72, has been lodged in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail since last year and according to his party, more than 200 cases are registered against him. In some of these, Khan has been granted bail, in some he has been convicted and in some the trial is going on.
