In this regard, Inspector Sunil Kumar Verma, in-charge of the cyber police station, immediately registered a case and started investigating the matter and during the investigation, it came to light that the entire amount of the fraud was done by cyber thugs through online shopping on the online shopping platform.

After which Cyber ​​Crime Cell took immediate action and email correspondence was done through merchants of online shopping and high officials of Cyber ​​Crime Kanpur city email correspondence was done through merchants and Cyber ​​Crime Kanpur officials also sent emails to merchants companies based in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru. After talking to the nodal officers of the headquarters and coordinating, they told that this online shopping has been done by cyber thugs, this should be stopped immediately and the said amount should be returned to the victim’s account.
