Withdrawal of money from ATM: For a long time, only Rs 500 notes were being dispensed from bank ATMs. Due to this, the problem of shortage of small notes for transactions at the time of shopping is increasing in the market. In view of this, banks have started loading Rs 200 and Rs 100 notes along with Rs 500 in ATM machines.
When people withdraw cash from ATMs of all major banks including SBI, most of the fixed amount notes will be of Rs 500, but some notes of Rs 200 and 100 will also reach them. In view of the shortage of small notes in transactions, RBI has issued guidelines to banks in this regard.
President of Indian Bank Staff Association, Manoj Kumar Sharma said that with the issuance of Rs 200 and Rs 100 notes in ATMs, people will be able to get relief to some extent from the problem of transactions at the time of shopping. The system of inserting Rs 200 and Rs 100 notes along with Rs 500 notes has been compulsorily implemented in most of the ATM machines. Due to this people were facing a lot of problems.
