Mahapanchayat of farmers at Ram Leela Maidan today, Delhi Traffic Police issued advisory

Farmers are holding a Mahapanchayat in Delhi today regarding many demands including MSP. The Mahapanchayat will be held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. The approval of the Mahapanchayat has been received and Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory on Wednesday.

It has been said in the traffic advisory that Kisan Mahapanchayat is going to be held on 14 March 2024 at Ram Leela Maidan, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg. In view of the farmers' mahapanchayat at Ramlila Maidan located on Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, many roads may be blocked and many roads have been diverted. A large number of farmers are expected to participate in the protest.

Traffic will be affected in Delhi's Ramlila Maidan from 6 am to 4 pm. Jawaharlal Nehru Mark, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Asaf Ali Road, Swami Vivekananda Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, Minto Road, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Flyover, Bhavabhuti Marg, Chamanlal Marg, Barakhamba Road, Tolstoy Marg, Jai Singh Road, Sansad Marg, Baba Khark Singh Marg, Ashok Rog, Connaught Circus and DDU Marg will be affected.

Traffic will remain diverted on these roads of Delhi. Delhi Gate, Mir Dard Chowk, Ajmeri Gate Chowk, Guru Nanak Chowk, R/Kamala Market, Paharganj Chowk and Vasi Jhandwala, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Flyover from Barakhamba Road to Guru Nanak Chowk, Barakhamba Road/Tolstoy Road Crossing, Janpath Road/Tolstoy Marg. Crossroads, R/A GPO.

Let us tell you that a Mahapanchayat is being organized today by All India Kisan Khet Mazdoor Sangathan at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. In this, there will be a demand to make a law to guarantee the purchase of all crops on MSP, withdrawal of Electricity Amendment Bill 2023 and prepaid meter scheme, compensation of Rs 50 thousand per acre for the crops destroyed due to hailstorm.
