As per the discussion, Salman Khan no longer looks that impressive as a spy agent. Apart from this, if we look at the records of previous films, his star value has not been such that his cameo would make any significant difference to the film. For this reason it is possible that Salman may have been dropped from the film.
However, according to sources close to the film's team, the filmmakers are avoiding overexposing Salman Khan in a similar role.
If Salman does so many cameos then his original role will not be fun. For this reason, his cameos have been excluded from the upcoming films.
