Haridwar, 25 November (HS). Hindu organizations and saints have expressed displeasure over Muslim girl students wearing hijab in Uttarakhand Sanskrit University. Mahamandaleshwar has made serious allegations against the university administration for this.

In a press conference on Monday at the local press club, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Rupendra Prakash and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Prabodhanand Giri said that Uttarakhand Sanskrit University has been established to promote the culture of Devbhoomi and the education of Sanatan. If people from other communities behave against Sanatan here, it will not be tolerated. It is wrong for Muslim girl students to come to Sanskrit University wearing hijab.

The saints also demanded the government to take action against the officials of the university administration. Rambir Singh and Divyansh Sharma etc. were present during the press conference.
