Dehradun, March 13 (HS). Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat visited Helsinki University along with departmental officials on Wednesday. During this, he took information about the academic and other activities of the university.
State School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, who is on an educational tour to European countries, said in a statement that on Wednesday he visited Helsinki University in Finland with the departmental team. Where he visited the Playful Learning Center and Library located in the University. In the Playful Learning Centre, children are taught through play activities, due to which children's understanding develops quickly.
During the university visit, Heidi Lane, senior lecturer at Vaskala University, gave a presentation on school education in Finland. He also answered the questions asked by the members of the tour group. During this, Dr. Rawat expressed the need to make MUO in the field of education with Helsinki University. He also stressed the need to consider starting a student exchange program and conduct research on the reasons why students are happy in Finland.
Departmental Secretary Ravinath Raman shared the education system of Uttarakhand before the representatives of Helsinki University. He also talked about creating playful learning centers on the lines of Finland in SCERT and every DIET.
On this occasion, Director Academic Research and Training Vandana Garbyal, Additional Director SCERT Ajay Naudyal, Joint Director Kanchan Deoradi, BP Mandoli, MM Joshi, Pradyuman Rawat, Dr. Deepak Pratap and other officers were present.
