Bhopal, 21 November (HS). Madhya Pradesh Pavilion remains the center of attraction in the 43rd International Trade Fair going on at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. In accordance with the theme of the fair ‘Developed India@2047’, the nature of rapidly developing Madhya Pradesh along with its ancient cultural and artistic heritage has been displayed in the pavilion. In the pavilion, along with the digital representation of the development and prosperity of the state, the tourism destinations, tribal and folk art and architecture of the state have been displayed in an attractive manner.
Technical glimpse of development
Public Relations Officer Zakia Ruhi said on Thursday that as soon as you enter the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion, four pillars of development based on hologram have been shown. Using state-of-the-art technology, Yuva Shakti, Nari Shakti, Garib Kalyan and Farmers Welfare missions have been displayed through holograms inside the glass pillars. These four pillars are attracting a lot of visitors, especially youth and children. The concepts of Regional Industries Conclave, Global Investors Summit and Industry Year being organized with the aim of attracting investment in the state through digital infopanels have been prominently displayed.
Philosophy of heritage and development
He told that Sanchi Stupa, Gwalior Fort, Khajuraho sculpture, Chanderi Gate and Amarkantak Kund are depicted at the entrance of the pavilion. On the outer part of the pavilion, detailed information about the lifestyle and costumes of the four major tribes of the state – Gond, Bhil, Saharia and Baiga has been given. On the other side of the pavilion, projects like Omkareshwar Floating Solar Power Park, Gandhi Sagar Dam and Rewa Ultra-Mega Solar Power Plant are displayed. Panels of major destinations of the state have been installed in the inner part of the pavilion.

An exhibition of Geographical Indication products of the state has also been organized in the pavilion. In the exhibition, Chanderi saree, Varasivani saree, Maheshwari saree, bellmetal craft, iron-ore craft, Jabalpur stone craft, Gond paintings, Bagh prints, Sharbati wheat, Ratlam sev, Riyawan garlic, Morena Gajak, Ujjain batik print, leather toys of Indore. , Kadaknath chicken, Sundarja mango, Chinnaur rice and carpets from Gwalior are shown.
Stalls of government departments and enterprises
Government departments, corporations and boards of the state have also participated in the pavilion. The Tourism Department is giving virtual experience of tourist places like Khajuraho, Sanchi, Ujjain, Mandu, Maheshwar to the visitors through Virtual Reality (VR). The digital touchscreen dashboard of the department is providing all the information related to tourism to the visitors. In the Madhya Pradesh Day celebration organized at the fair on November 19, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honored the Tourism Department with the award of Best Stall Display in the Government category. Lamps, planters, toys and decorative items made of terracotta are being sold in the stall of Madhya Pradesh Matikala Board. In the pavilion, Rajkumar and Pushpa Prajapati are giving a live demonstration of Matikala and in their stall, visitors are getting the experience of making terracotta pots with their own hands using a wheel.
Display and sale of products like Khadi clothes, readymade clothes, honey, shampoo, sanitizer, etc. in the stall of Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board and Chanderi suit, Maheshwari saree, Mandsaur and batik chadar, etc. in the stall of Sant Ravidas Handicraft and Handicraft Development Corporation. is being done. Chanderi, Maheshwari and Bagh prints textiles and bellmetal artefacts are being displayed and sold in the stall of Mriganayani Emporium of Small Industries Corporation.
