Gwalior: Students carved many pictures of heritage sites.

Gwalior, 21 November (HS). Some people carved the historical fort of Gwalior, some Gupta era statues and some other ancient statues on paper and created many different pictures. The occasion was the painting competition organized on the theme “Our Archaeological Heritage” at Gujri Mahal on Thursday under the World Heritage Week.

In this competition, the paintings made by the youth from Kashmir under the Kashmir Youth Access Program were the center of attraction. Similarly, Mr. Sunil Jatav, a disabled student of Sevaarth Jankalyan Samiti, Gwalior, attracted everyone by carving a picture with his foot. About 450 students participated in this competition.

In the painting competition organized on the theme “Our Archaeological Heritage”, Deputy Director of Archeology Mr. PC Mahobia, Professor of Behat College, Dr. Kaushalendra Singh and other teachers including Madhusudan Sharma, Archana and Nandani Parihar were present. Students of CM Rise Kanya Umavi Kilgate, My School, Victor Public School, Sevarth Jan Kalyan Samiti and Kashmir Youth Access Program participated in the competition.
