Bhopal, 21 November (HS). Under the chairmanship of Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, a meeting regarding preparations for ‘Constitution Day Padyatra’ was held in the ministry on 26th November on the completion of 75 years of the Constitution. Constitution Day march is being organized in the capital Bhopal on Tuesday 26th November. More than 2000 youth are expected to participate in it.
Youth and students will be involved
Minister Sarang said that the Constitution Day march will start from the Shaurya Smarak and will end at the Shaurya Smarak by paying obeisance to the statue of the creator of the Constitution Dr. BR Ambedkar located at the Board Office intersection. He gave necessary instructions to the officers of the district administration and police administration regarding the organization of the padyatra. The yatra will be in coordination with the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. This will include youth from Nehru Yuva Kendra, National Service Scheme, higher education, school education, medical education, technical education. Sports and youth welfare players and students of the respective hostels of Tribal Welfare Department will also participate in the foot march.

Minister Sarang said that the Constitution Day march will be organized on Tuesday 26th November in the forenoon. School and college children will also be included in this. He gave instructions to the concerned to make arrangements for necessary cleanliness etc. around the venue and route. Similarly, he also asked the concerned to ensure smooth operation of traffic. Instructions were also given to make arrangements for the police band during the march. Besides, necessary police deployment on the route of the padyatra and arrangements for parking at the venue were also asked.
Message of awareness about the Constitution to the youth
Minister Sarang said that the Pad Yatra should be carried out in complete discipline and orderly manner. Thousands of people came in the march and gave Baba Saheb slogans related to the Constitution and messages to make the youth aware of the Constitution. Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava, Director Ravi Kumar Gupta, Joint Director B.L. were present in the meeting. Yadav, district administration and police and other concerned department officials were present.
