During Ramadan, delicious dishes are prepared in Iftar parties and if you feel like eating something sweet then you can enjoy the delicious Shahi Tukda. The taste of Shahi Tukdi made from bread is amazing and the best thing is that it is easy to make. What's more, you can store it for several days. Loved by both kids and adults, homemade Shahi Tukda tastes much better than the store-bought varieties. Here is an easy recipe of shahi tukde.
Material:
large pieces of white bread
sugar for thin syrup
Finely chopped dry fruits, cardamom and condensed milk
Ghee for decoration or refined oil for frying
Instruction:
– Cut the edges of the bread and then cut the white bread into desired shapes. To make Shahi Tukda, first cut the edges of the bread and cut the white bread into a triangle shape.
-For deep frying, heat refined oil or desi ghee in a pan on high flame.
– Fry the bread slices until golden brown. Take them out and keep them on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
– In another pan, make thin syrup using sugar and water. Add crushed cardamom to enhance the taste. Let the syrup cool.
– Dip the fried bread slices in syrup and take it out after some time.
-Keep the Shahi Tukdi in a big plate.
-Apply condensed milk on top and sprinkle finely chopped dry fruits.
-For better setting, keep it in the refrigerator for some time.
