Kathua 21 November (HIST). Deputy Commissioner Kathua Dr Rakesh Minhas chaired a meeting to review the progress of credit-linked employment generation schemes of various departments.
At the beginning the Deputy Commissioner sought details regarding the number of cases sanctioned and number of cases distributed by various departments and the number of cases pending with the banks. DC directed the heads of various departments and bankers to work in coordination for speedy disposal of cases. Various measures to evaluate the progress and performance of credit related schemes in agriculture and allied sectors were discussed in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting the DC called upon all concerned departments and bankers to double their efforts to achieve the set targets. Strict instructions were also issued to the concerned departments and bankers to ensure zero pendency in the sanctioned cases lying in the banks for disbursement. ADDC, CPO Kathua, heads of various departments and bankers were also present in the meeting.
