Passengers going out of the country will get facility
Indian travelers traveling out of the country can now use their Paytm app to make seamless payments at those places. It can be used only at places where UPI is accepted. These places include United Arab Emirates (UAE), Singapore, France, Mauritius, Bhutan and Nepal. A Paytm spokesperson said, ‘In view of the upcoming holidays, we are confident that this step will make users’ foreign travel more convenient.’
Work is being done to expand the scope of UPI

In the last one to one and a half years, UPI facility has become available in many countries. Currently UPI can be used in Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Bhutan, UAE, Singapore, Oman and Nepal. Apart from this, it is also expected to be launched soon in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Australia, America, Bahrain, Japan, Philippines etc.
