If we had united five hundred years ago, we would not have had to face slavery: Yogi Adityanath

Ayodhya, 20 November (Hindustan Reporter). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday unveiled the grand Sri Rajagopuram gate of Sugriva Fort in Ayodhya. On this occasion, while addressing the saints and sages from all over the country, he discussed the mythological and historical importance of Ayodhya.

Emphasizing on the construction of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya and the unity of Sanatan Dharma, the Chief Minister said that the work which was stalled for 500 years, for which many generations were sacrificed, could be completed only by the unity of Sanatani people under the leadership of Modi ji. It was completed in just two years. If we had shown unity 500 years ago, we would not have had to face slavery.

…So no power in the world can weaken us

The Chief Minister said that our memories inspire us to move the society forward in the right direction. Whenever we show unity, no power in the world will be able to weaken us. The Chief Minister described the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple as the result of the struggle of generations. He said that the long wait of 500 years has ended. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the dream of enshrining Ram Lalla in his grand temple has been fulfilled. He described the unity of Sanatan Dharma followers as the basis of this success.

Chief Minister appealed to the society to avoid disintegration

In his address, the Chief Minister talked about adopting a strict stance against the elements that weaken religion and society. He said that any problem which weakens the society and nation, we have to separate ourselves from it. It should be the job of religion to expose such elements and isolate them from the society.

Sugriva Fort is also related to Devraha Baba

The Chief Minister said that Sugriva Fort is also related to Devraha Baba. He told that this place is related to the exile period of Shri Ram, when Bharat ji had prepared it for the residence of Shri Ram. The Chief Minister said that earlier the road to reach this fort was narrow, but now it has been made wide and accessible. He called it an important link in the development of Ayodhya. Yogi said that Ayodhya is now not only the center of religious and spiritual environment, but is also developing as the most beautiful city in the world.

World class facilities are being developed in Ayodhya

Yogi Adityanath, while mentioning the development plans of Ayodhya, said that an international airport has been built here, which will help in connecting Ayodhya at the global level. He reiterated his resolve to make Ayodhya the most beautiful city in the world and called it the responsibility of the people of Ayodhya to protect and preserve this heritage. Along with the development of Ayodhya, the Chief Minister also talked about the rejuvenation of other religious places. He said that under the guidance of saints, Ayodhya will be developed as a city based on the ideals of Shri Ram. He also mentioned the contribution of Saint Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj and expressed his respect for him.

On this occasion, Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Pujyaswami Shri Vishweshprapannacharya Ji Maharaj, saints who had come from Srirangam, Shri Mahant Dharamdas Ji Maharaj of Hanumangarhi, Shri Mahant Ramlakhan Das, Mayor Girishpati Tripathi and other dignitaries were present.
