He has shared his experience on social media. One user wrote, more than 100 passengers are stranded in Phuket, Thailand due to Air India. This includes small children and people who have essential appointments. Flight AI 377 was scheduled to depart on 16 November. Which was first delayed and then cancelled.
Not only this, some passengers said that they missed their connecting trains and taxis due to flight cancellations. Another passenger posted, ‘This is really a very scary situation. Connecting trains, cabs, flights canceled for two days. Why should people suffer personal injury due to a faulty aircraft?’
According to the report, people accused Air India of putting the lives of passengers at risk due to the faulty aircraft. One user wrote, ‘The flight was not fit to fly. Air India regrets the inconvenience caused to the passengers of AI377 flight from Phuket to Delhi on 16 November. All types of ground assistance including hotel accommodation and food and water were provided. Some passengers were accommodated on alternate available flights. The airline said passengers were also given a full refund and the option of flight rescheduling.
