ICC Champions Trophy Schedule: At present, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has refused to send its team to Pakistan citing security reasons. India has proposed a hybrid model which has been rejected by Pakistan.

Means of issuing schedule

There is an atmosphere of happiness in Pakistan after the news of the release of the schedule. In fact, during the dispute between BCCI and PCB, there was also a fear that the event would be held outside Pakistan.

Now if ICC is going to release the schedule then it means that this event will be held in Pakistan. However, there is still concern about whether the Indian team will participate in it or not.

The release of the schedule also means that somewhere an agreement has been reached between BCCI and PCB. Because without this it is not possible to release the schedule.

It is also possible that the Indian team will not play the Champions Trophy. In such a situation, some other team can be included in the bridge instead of India. However, this is not likely.

Shoaib Akhtar hopes BCCI will take a U-turn!

Meanwhile, former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has expressed hope that BCCI will reconsider the decision of not sending its team to Pakistan, will change its decision and the team will come to play with Pakistan.

However, Shoaib has also expressed the fear of loss if the Indian team does not come. Shoaib Akhtar rejected the possibility of India pulling out of the tournament citing sponsors and said that BCCI and PCB will find a solution to the issue.

According to Shoaib Akhtar, ‘There will be back channel talks. Back channel communication takes place even during times of war. We should not lose hope. We will have to wait for the solution.

Shoaib Akhtar issued a stern warning to both the PCB and the International Cricket Council (ICC), reminding them that without India they would have lost $100 million (about Rs 844 crore).
