Hamirpur, 19 November (HS). In Hamirpur, BJP leader Rajinder Rana, MLA Inder Dutt Lakhanpal and MLA Ashish Sharma held a joint press conference today and made several serious allegations against Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and his government.
BJP leaders alleged that Chief Minister Sukhu gave permission to run the crusher at the time of the disaster to benefit Gyan Chand, a person from Nadaun. He raised the question that when all the crushers in the state were closed, then how only Gyan Chand’s crusher was allowed to operate. BJP leaders also alleged that illegal mining has taken place in this case and there is discussion across the state that Gyan Chand has relations with big leaders.
Taking aim at Chief Minister Sukhu, Rajinder Rana said that the state government is going to fall under its own weight and in 2025, a new government will be formed in Himachal Pradesh under the leadership of BJP. Terming the policies of the state government as unconstitutional, he said that the Chief Minister has appointed 6 CPS illegally and all of them come under the ambit of “office of profit”.
BJP leaders also mentioned that the High Court has ordered to auction Himachal Bhawan in Delhi. Rana termed it against the honor of Himachal and said that it is a matter of shame that today an order has been given to confiscate Himachal Bhawan.
Rajinder Rana also raised questions on the Chief Minister opening the Chief Minister’s office in Dehra under pressure from his wife and said that BJP has no objection to it, but the Chief Minister should open such an office in every assembly constituency so that people can get more facilities. .
Apart from this, Rana alleged that a land has been purchased in the name of the minister and his friends in Ducati area of Fagu area of Shimla where roads and retaining walls are being constructed at a cost of crores of rupees from the government treasury while no one is there. There is no population.
He also raised the issue of compensation for land taken from people under the schemes of Jal Shakti Department and said that the Chief Minister’s family members have received compensation of more than Rs 18 lakh, while the common people have not received the compensation yet.
