The judge has sentenced 14 people named in the case, including the then jailer, to imprisonment. Eight other accused have also been found guilty and will be sentenced on Thursday.

On March 20, 2010, Prince of Mukhtar gang and Nasir, resident of village Aunta of Churkhi police station area, were murdered in a gang war in the district jail. The then jailer Nathu Singh Sengar had filed a case against Prince Ahmed and his associates for exploding a bomb in the jail and killing the prisoners themselves. But Ayub Khan, father of Nasir, who was killed in the gang war on March 28, filed a complaint on March 28, 2010 against jail personnel Rajkumar, Nripendra, Ram Avtar, Anil Sharma, Deputy Jailer Mishraji, then jailer Natthu Singh, jail superintendent Avinash Gautam.

It was alleged that for not paying the illegal recovery, his son Nasir and prisoner Prince Ahmed were beaten up by Sughar Singh, Ramnarayan, Lala, Raja Bhaiya, Munna, Raju Titra, Rajkumar, Nripendra, Ramautar, Anil Sharma on the orders of the Jail Superintendent and Deputy Jailer. Committed murder. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case of murder against the accused and investigated and arrested Sughar Singh, Satyabhan alias Lala, Raja Bhaiya, Raju Teetra, Akhilesh, Munna Kevat, Ramnarayan, Jailer Natthu Singh Sengar, Rammanorath, Ramsharan, Rajkumar, Nripendra, Chargesheet filed in the court against Anil Sharma, Shashikant Tiwari Jail Superintendent Avinash Gautam.

The hearing was completed on Wednesday after a trial that lasted 14 years. District government advocate Lakhan Lal Niranjan said that District Judge Lallu Singh has declared all the accused guilty. 14 people including the then jailer Nathu Singh have been sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh each.
