Bareilly, 18 November (HS). “Generative AI in Education and Research” on 19 November 2024 at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. An international workshop and training program is being organized on the topic. The program is funded by UNESCO and the major partner institutions are Valley State University, US and Far Western University, Nepal.
The workshop was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. K.P. Leo will do. The chief guest of the program will be Prof. Ajit Singh Nain, Director of Research, Gobind Vallabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. During this time Prof. R. S. Mishra, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, will present his views as the distinguished speaker, while Prof. Neha Shivhare, University of British Columbia, Canada and Prof. Yog Raj Pathak, Registrar, Far Western University, Nepal, will be present as the special guest.
The technical sessions of the workshop were conducted by Prof. Antonita Rafael, Spain, Prof. Nelly Deutsch and Dr. Kanak Sharma.
Program coordinator Dr. Kshama Pandey said that in this workshop, the trainees will learn about Generative AI. Current skills and competencies related to Subsequently, in four other workshops he was introduced to A.I. They will be trained on the applications of FTII, and their skills will be reassessed in a final workshop.
Program Secretary Dr. Neeraj Kumar said that 750 participants are participating in this workshop, which includes participants from Algeria, Bangladesh, Nepal and various states of India like Bihar, Kerala, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The objective of this workshop is to develop Generative AI in the field of education and research. The objective is to promote the applications of FTII and provide the necessary skills to implement it in an effective manner in various academic institutions.
