There will be fog in Delhi in the morning and evening for the next four days, orange alert issued for tomorrow.

New Delhi, 18 November (HS). There will be no respite from the increasing pollution and fog in Delhi for the next three-four days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense to very dense fog conditions during night and morning hours in parts of northwest India. Orange alert has been issued in Delhi for Tuesday. Visibility is expected to be less than 200 meters in the morning. With this, foggy conditions are expected to persist in Delhi till November 21. According to the Meteorological Department, dense to very dense fog conditions are expected in Punjab and Haryana-Chandigarh during night and morning hours till November 23. Similar conditions will prevail in eastern Uttar Pradesh till November 19, which will turn into dense fog the next day.

On Monday, while talking to the media about the weather update in North India and Delhi-NCR, IMD scientist Naresh Kumar told that there is dense to very dense fog in North and North-West India. There is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in the coming days. There will be dense fog in Haryana and Punjab for the next 5 days. There is a possibility of moderate to dense fog in Delhi-NCR for the next 3-4 days. He said that there is no hope of western disturbance for the next four days. Therefore there is no hope of rain. A slight drop in temperature can be seen.
