Ranchi, 18 November (HS). Voting for the second phase of Jharkhand assembly elections is going to be held on November 20. Due to this, the election campaign came to a halt from 5 pm today. In the second phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections, voting is to be held in 38 assembly constituencies of 12 districts. Its counting of votes will take place on 23 November. Today the noise of election campaign for the three assembly seats of the district, Godda, Podaiyahat and Mahagama Vis, stopped.
Only till 5 pm today, the candidates of all the three constituencies had permission from the Commission to campaign in their favor. However, even after this, candidates will be able to campaign door-to-door or without using horns to contact the public. There will be no prohibition in this. After the election campaign period is over, preparations for voting are being completed in full swing. The administration is in alert mode regarding elections across the district. Ranchi Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Varun Ranjan inspected various booths and instructed the concerned officials to complete all the arrangements on time.
