Noida, 18 November (Hindustan Reporter). Haryana Steelers have been in great form so far in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 and have reached the top of the table thanks to their performances. With five consecutive wins, Haryana has cemented itself at the top of the points table.
Talking about Haryana Steelers’ consistent good performance, coach Manpreet Singh said in a statement issued by PKL, “We take one game at a time in PKL. There are 22 games and we prepare for every game. We don’t pay too much attention to the winning streak. PKL is a great platform for young players and it is great to see them performing well. As a coach, it feels great to work with young players and I feel a little younger too.”
For Haryana Steelers, their defensive unit has been as strong as ever. In the game against Tamil Thalaivas, the defenders took control of the game in the final minutes to ensure victory. Recalling that phase of the game, captain Jaideep Dahiya said, “It was a good win and we are very happy as a team. “We were a little rushed in the beginning, then were able to control things defensively at the end which helped us get the win.”
Regarding their upcoming match against Telugu Titans, coach Manpreet Singh said, “If Pawan Sehrawat plays, he is like a one-man army and we have to keep an eye on him. Without Pawan, it might be a little easier for us, but we will prepare keeping in mind that he will play.”
