According to the information received, the deceased was a resident of Larkana city of Sindh province, who has been identified as Rajesh Kumar. Rajesh Kumar was going from Lahore to Nankana Sahib in a car with his friend and relative. Meanwhile, three robbers blocked their way on Mananwala-Nankana Sahib Road, about 60 kilometers from Lahore.
Bullets were fired after the robbery
Giving information about the incident, police said, “The gunmen looted Rs 4.5 lakh from the three and Rs 10,000 from the driver. When Rajesh Kumar protested, the robbers opened fire on him and fled.” After the robbery and firing incident on Wednesday night, Rajesh Kumar was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died on Thursday.
