On Friday, on the occasion of Dev Diwali festival and Kartik Purnima, there is a ban on the touch darshan of Baba’s holy Jyotirlinga in Kashi Vishwanath temple for the devotees. Devotees queuing will be able to see Baba’s tableau only. The temple administration gave this information on Thursday evening.
The temple administration said that there is a possibility of a huge increase in the number of devotees in Kashi Vishwanath Dham on the festival. Therefore, keeping security and order in mind, Sparsh Darshan of Baba Vishwanath will be completely banned on 15th and 16th November. Devotees were requested to have darshan of Baba only by standing in the queue during this period and to cooperate with the temple administration in maintaining the order. It was told that this decision has been taken for the safety of the devotees and to maintain proper order in the temple premises.
