New Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will contest by-election from Karnal seat.
Let us further tell you that after Khattar's resignation, the new Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will contest the by-election from Karnal seat. At present he is an MP from Gurukshetra, Haryana. In fact, on March 12, a few hours after the resignation of Manohar Lal Khattar, Naib Singh Saini took oath as the Chief Minister. After this he proposed to meet the Governor and present a vote of confidence. Saini presented a vote of confidence in the Assembly today i.e. on Wednesday, which was passed by voice vote. With this, the new Saini government of Haryana has passed the floor test.

During the confidence motion on Wednesday, the opposition demanded voting, however, since there was no such tradition, the Speaker conducted the voting by voice vote, in which the motion was passed.
Chautala met the Home Minister
Earlier late on Monday night, Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda. Meanwhile he asked for one to two seats. According to sources, the BJP high command told him that he would be informed about the future idea of the alliance.
