Ranchi, 13 November (HS). The 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda will be celebrated as Pride Day across the country on 15th November. But before that, Tribal Pride Padyatra started from Chhattisgarh in the name of Lord Birsa Munda ‘Mati Ke Veer’. Tribal Pride Day program has been organized in Jashpur on the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya have participated in the program. Apart from this, Deputy CM Arun Sao, Finance Minister OP Choudhary, Minister Ramvichar Netam, Tankaram Verma, Lakshmi Rajwade and MLAs were present.
On the occasion of Tribal Pride Day programme, ‘Mati Ke Veer’ march is being taken out. Which started from Purna Nagar ground in Jashpur. More than 10 thousand ‘My Bharat’ youth are marching with the volunteers. The name of Lord Birsa Munda comes as a brave warrior and social reformer, who dedicated his life for the progress of the tribal society and their rights. National Tribal Pride Day is celebrated every year on his birth anniversary on 15th November in the country. At the same time, it is also a celebration of the ancient cultural heritage, continuous struggle and self-respect of the tribal community.
