New Delhi, 13 November (HS). Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Gujarat Titans has taken an important decision before the mega auction of IPL 2025. The franchise has appointed former Indian wicketkeeper batsman Parthiv Patel as assistant coach.
Gujarat Titans said in an official statement released on Wednesday that the new season has brought new enthusiasm and big changes for the Titans. We are extremely pleased to announce that former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel has joined us as Assistant Coach. Parthiv will be joined by his former Indian teammate Ashish Nehra, who will continue to serve as our head coach, creating a dynamic coaching duo for the Titans.
Parthiv Patel’s cricket journey started in his youth. At the age of just 17, he became the youngest wicketkeeper to make his Test debut. During his career, he represented India in 25 Tests, 38 ODIs and 2 T20 matches. On the IPL platform, Parthiv played 139 matches for six teams including Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians.
