Cause of accident?
According to the information, the bus which was the victim of the accident was going towards Chakwal district of Punjab, Pakistan, but on the way the bus fell straight from the bridge into the Indus River below. At least 26 people died and many were injured when the bus fell into the river.
Search for accident victims started
According to the information given by the local government regarding this incident, all the people sitting in the bus at the time of the accident were going to participate in a wedding ceremony. The Kashmir hilly area of POK which was captured by Pakistan was in Gilgit-Baltistan. Other people traveling in the bus are being searched in the river. The death toll may increase.
26 people killed in Balochistan
Earlier last week, there was a suicide blast at a railway station in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s Balochistan province. In which 26 people died and about 62 people were injured. According to reports, following the incident, the Pakistan government has suspended all railway services to and from Balochistan for four days from Monday due to security concerns. The separatist Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Pakistani government has said that it will respond to this attack if necessary.
