Junagadh: Under the guidance of Junagadh District Collector Anil Kumar Ranavasia, lighting facilities for the pilgrims have been increased this year. Especially for the first time, lighting arrangements have been made on Nalpanini Ghodi, which is considered to be the most difficult climb of the voyage.
The system has gone through a lot of effort in arranging lighting on the Girnar Green Circle route. Apart from tap water horse, Jatashankar-Girnar old stairs and Itwa horse climb and descent area has been provided with diesel generator for the first time. Thus, arrangements have been made to provide lighting to the pilgrims even in the forest area.
PGVCL employees are on round-the-clock duty to maintain uninterrupted power supply at night on Parikrama Marg. Apart from this, a team of engineers and technical staff is also working round the clock to maintain continuous power supply in the Bhavnath area.
