Relevantly the Government of India has decided to celebrate 15th November as ‘Tribal Pride Day’ from the year 2021 onwards to mark the birth anniversary of tribal freedom fighter “Birsa Munda” who was not only a freedom fighter but also a leader in the society. He was a reformer and also led the tribals. He is also known as Dharti Abba because he encouraged the tribals to understand their cultural roots and practice unity.
