Rohtak, 12 November (HS). On Tuesday, under the leadership of Jaihind Sena chief Naveen, the raw employees of PGIMS took to the streets with their demands. As soon as the employees started marching towards PGI from Sector 6, the police stopped the employees by placing barricades near the new bus stand. PGIMS employees staged a protest there and sat on the road. During this period there was tension between the police and the employees. Later, a delegation led by Jaihind Sena chief Naveen reached PGIMS and submitted a memorandum to Governor Bandaru Dattatreya.
The Governor assured the delegation to resolve the problem soon. Later, while talking to the journalists, Naveen Jaihind said that there were problems of the raw employees of PGI and he had recently informed the Governor and the Health Minister about this. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya was the chief guest during the convocation ceremony at PGI on Tuesday and he had come to apprise the Governor about the problems of PGI employees in a peaceful manner. The Governor assured them of taking appropriate action soon. He also demanded from the government and the district administration that no trees should be cut in the garden located in Sector 6.
