On this day, devotees observe fast and worship Lord Vishnu, so that they attain happiness, prosperity and salvation in life.

Devuthani Ekadashi auspicious time (Dev Uthani ekadashi 2024 shubh muhurat)

Ekadashi Tithi will start on 11th November 2024 at 06:46 PM, which will end on 12th November 2024 at 04:04 PM. The fast can be observed from 06:42 am to 08:51 am on 13th November. This year Dev Guthani Ekadashi will be celebrated on Tuesday, 12 November 2024.

Devuthani Ekadashi puja method

• Wake up early in the morning, take bath, meditate and take a pledge to fast for Lord Vishnu.
• After this, clean the temple and meditate on Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi.
• Then bathe the Lord with Panchamrit, turmeric tilak or Gopi Chandan.
• After this, offer a garland of yellow flowers, sweets, fruits and basil leaves to Lord Vishnu.
• Chant Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya or any other mantra of Lord Vishnu, recite Vishnu Sahasranama and sing the aarti.
• After fasting the whole day, stay awake at night by singing bhajans and kirtans of God.
• After morning puja, complete the fast at the time of cradle.
