The days are hot here while the nights are getting cold. Daytime mercury has increased in many cities including Bhopal, Indore-Ujjain. At the same time, the nights of Pachmarhi, Shajapur-Rajgarh are the coldest. The night temperature in Pachmarhi has reached 12.4 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, cold may increase at night next week. At the same time, there is a forecast of rain in Gwalior-Chambal in the last week.

However, after November 15, there has been a decline in mercury. Between 20 and 25 November, the night temperature in many cities reaches below 10 degrees. The night temperature is expected to fall from November 15. Temperatures can reach below 15 degrees Celsius in most cities. Day temperatures will drop by 1 to 2 degrees, but are unlikely to go below normal. It is expected to rain in the districts of Gwalior-Chambal division in the last week.
At the same time, Pachmarhi, the only hill station of the state, remains the coldest in November. Be it day or night, there is a drop in temperature. The temperature here was recorded at 12.4 degrees Celsius on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday. The temperature was 13.9 degrees in Shajapur, 15 degrees in Rajgarh, 15.2 degrees in Ashoknagar, 15.5 degrees in Mandla, 15.7 degrees in Tikamgarh, 16 degrees in Rewa, 16.2 degrees in Betul-Naugaon, 16.3 degrees in Umaria, 16.4 degrees in Khandwa, 16.4 degrees in Khargone. 16.8 degrees, 16.9 in Chhindwara degrees, in Narmadapuram it was 17.4 degrees. The mercury was recorded at 17.5 degrees in Ratlam, 18 degrees in Guna, 18.2 degrees in Khajuraho-Malajkhand, 18.5 degrees in Dhar, 18.6 degrees in Damoh, 18.7 degrees in Sagar, 19 degrees in Seoni, 19.6 degrees in Narsinghpur. Talking about day temperature, it was 27.2 degrees Celsius in Pachmarhi on Sunday, which is the lowest in the state. The temperature was recorded at 28.2 degrees in Seoni, 28.8 degrees in Betul, 29 degrees in Shivpuri, 29.4 degrees in Raisen, 29.8 degrees in Sidhi. In the rest of the cities the temperature remained above 30 degrees.
