Raipur, 10 November (HS). State Congress President Deepak Baij issued a statement on Sunday saying that the BJP government is blackmailing businessmen in the name of checking GST documents. Scrutiny of documents of traders with turnover more than Rs 1.50 crore is anti-trader attitude of BJP government. The BJP government is considering businessmen as tax evaders. Ever since the BJP government was formed in the state, it has been harassing traders in the name of GST. This is government's oppression of traders. The BJP government is taking a decision that will ruin the industry and trade. The government does development and relief work with the tax money paid by businessmen and industrialists. It is wrong to harass those traders.

Deepak Baij said that the BJP government is harassing the traders. The government conducted GST raids on traders continuously for 11 months. Earlier, the government had decided to end the exemption in ewe bill to harass them. Now the documents of the traders are being checked. At the time of registration, registration was done after checking all the documents, then why new registration? Congress opposes this step of the government.

Deepak Baij said that the BJP government is continuously taking anti-business decisions. Freehold of lands was stopped, 30 percent discount in guide line rates was abolished, raids were started in the name of GST investigation to harass traders. The electricity prices of industries were increased. People sitting in the government put pressure on businessmen for unethical recovery. This government is anti-business government.
