Kishtwar, 10 November (Hindustan Reporter). An encounter started between terrorists and security forces on Sunday morning in Chas area of Kishtwar district. Earlier today, the encounter had started in Jabarwan area of Srinagar. Both the encounters between security forces and terrorists are going on simultaneously. Three Para-Special Forces soldiers are reported injured in the encounter in Kishtwar.
A top police officer said that based on specific input about the presence of some terrorists in Chas area, a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation. Meanwhile, security forces established contact with the terrorists and firing started. At present intermittent firing is going on from both the sides.
This is the second encounter that started today in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier, an encounter had started between terrorists and security forces in Jabarwan, Srinagar, which is still going on.
