Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday announced the Bharatiya Janata Party's manifesto for the Maharashtra elections. In its manifesto, BJP has made promises like loan waiver for farmers, Rs 2100 per month for women, 25 lakh jobs and Bhavantar Yojana for farmers.

- Apart from this, it has also been announced to implement Bhavantar Yojana for farmers.
- 25 lakh new jobs have also been promised in Maharashtra.
- It has also been announced to open skill centers in the state.
- BJP has promised to increase the old age pension to Rs 2100 per month.
India will become the third largest economy in 2027
Home Minister Amit Shah said in his address that the resolution is a reflection of aspirations. He targeted the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi. Amit Shah said, 'I want to ask Uddhav Thackeray if he can ask Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to say two good words for Veer Savarkar.'
He further said, 'Nobody believed that Article 370 would be abolished. But today the NDA government has done the work of abolishing Article 370. We had promised a prosperous India. In 10 years we took the country's economy to fifth place. We promise to make India the third largest economy by 2027.
Amit Shah said that we have provided houses, electricity, gas, toilets, drinking water, free grains and free treatment to 7 crore poor people. On the other hand, the Aghadi Congress President says that whatever promises the Congress makes should be made thoughtfully because you are not fulfilling your promises and I will have to answer. We have the example of Himachal, Telangana and Karnataka.
Elections in Maharashtra on 20th November
Voting for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra will be held on November 20 and the results will be declared on November 23. In the last elections, BJP had got 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, NCP 54 and Congress 44. However, after the elections, Shiv Sena broke ties with NDA and formed the government with NCP-Congress. Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena became the Chief Minister.
In June 2022, there was internal strife in Shiv Sena. After this Eknath Shinde dismissed 40 MLAs from the party. Eknath Shinde became Chief Minister with the support of BJP. Now Shiv Sena has divided into two groups. NCP has also divided into two factions, Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar.
