New Delhi, 10 November (HS). Pakistan has issued visas to 3 thousand Indian Sikh pilgrims on the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The 554th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is on 15 November.
Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi gave this information. According to this, more than 3 thousand visas have been issued to Sikh pilgrims from India to participate in the birthday celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji to be held in Pakistan from 14-23 November 2024. Expressing his views on the occasion, Diplomat in Charge Saad Ahmed Waraich extended hearty congratulations and wished the pilgrims a successful journey.
It is noteworthy that under the protocol made between Pakistan and India, since 1974, Pakistan issues visas for visiting religious pilgrimage sites. During the journey, pilgrims visit Dera Sahib, Panja Sahib, Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan.
