On getting information about the incident, police reached the spot, collected evidence, took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

Here on Saturday night the police received information about the dead body of a young man found in front of the fort gate. On getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and during identification it was found that Ashu Yadav, son of Pappu Yadav, aged about 26 years, is a resident of Jagammanpur. Investigation revealed that the deceased Ashu Yadav was addicted to drinking alcohol. The local police informed this to the relatives of the deceased. The police is busy investigating the reason behind this incident. However, family members have alleged murder. Rampura police station has taken legal action by taking possession of the body and filling Panchnama. At present, information about the exact reasons for this incident has not been obtained.
