Ingredients required to make Jalaram Khaman
- 1 cup gram flour
- 1/2 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- ginger paste
- Asafoetida
- oil mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Chopped coriander for garnishing.
How to make Jalaram Khaman
- Mixing gram flour, semolina, curd, oil
Leave it for 8 hours for the yeast to rise, then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sugar, ginger-chilli paste and salt. - Add baking soda. – Keep the mixture for 10-15 minutes. – Now put some water in the dhokli and keep it on the gas, apply oil in the dhokli plate and put this mixture in it. Then cook for 20 minutes.
- – After kneading the dough, take it out and flatten it with a ladle and add oil to it. Your Jalaram Khaman is ready.
- Instead of gram flour, you can soak gram dal for 8 hours and grind it in a mixer. You can also add a little rice flour to the dough.
