Moradabad, 9 November (Hindustan Reporter). With the increase in cold, the outbreak of viral fever has increased. The district hospital of Moradabad is filled with viral fever patients. More than 200 viral patients are admitted and are undergoing treatment. Apart from government hospitals, crowds of patients are also gathering in private hospitals and clinics. On Saturday, more than 250 viral patients were seen in the OPD, out of which 25 patients were admitted after seeing their condition.
Senior doctors of the district hospital say that this time the viral fever is taking eight to 10 days and the patient is also having pain in the bones. Complaints of jaundice are also being seen in many patients. Along with the eyes turning yellow, the urine is also turning yellow. In such a situation, even the patients are worried as to what kind of problem they are facing.
On Saturday, physician Dr. NK Mishra examined about 240 patients in the OPD of the district hospital. Out of these, 25 patients were admitted to the ward along with blood test due to viral infection. Apart from this, 52 viral patients have been admitted to the hospital last night on Friday. Patients coming to OPD were advised to avoid cold beverages. Along with this, emphasis was laid on consuming nutritious food.
Additional Director and Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Sangeeta Gupta said that the number of viral patients has increased. We are full of patients here. Arrangements are being made every day for new patients. Those who are recovering are being discharged. The number of viral patients is very high in OPD also.
