Jabalpur, 9 November (HS). Gaurighat on the banks of Narmada is being developed and beautified on the lines of Saryu banks of Ayodhya. Regarding which today Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh reached Gaurighat to inspect. Minister Singh inspected here along with the MPRDC team for reversion development. During this, Collector Deepak Saxena and other officials were also present. During this, Minister Rakesh Singh said that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had also talked about developing and beautifying Gaurighat on the lines of Saryu. Now the time has come for its realization.
The team has inspected the place today. Beautification of the banks of Narmada will boost religious tourism while also maintaining the religious faith of the people. DPR will be prepared after the inspection conducted today. Which will take about two months to prepare. He said that thousands of devotees come here to have darshan of Mother Narmada. Keeping this in view, a plan was made to develop Gaurighat beautification and development like the banks of Saryu in Ayodhya. Work is being done on a big plan for the construction of pathway at Gwarighat-Tilwaraghat. Many times it has also been said to develop the Narmada coast on the lines of Sabarbati in Ahmedabad.
