New Delhi, March 13 (HS). Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today (Wednesday) at the World Trade Center in Naoroji Nagar, New Delhi at the meeting of three multi-state cooperative societies – BBSSL (Indian Seed Cooperative Society Limited), NCOL (National Co-operative Organics Limited) and NCEL (National Co-operative Export Limited) will inaugurate the new office building. This information has been shared by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) in a release. It said that this is another important initiative of the Ministry of Cooperation towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of “Prosperity through cooperation”. The inauguration of separate office buildings for these three cooperative societies will prove to be a milestone in the cooperative sector of the country.
According to the Press Information Bureau, these three committees are working in the field of export, organic products and seeds. All three committees will ensure the development of people associated with agriculture and related activities. The three companies will purchase agricultural produce and seeds from farmers through PACS. This will strengthen the pack and farmers will also get maximum price for their produce.
According to the release, the event will be attended by secretaries and other senior officials of the concerned central ministries, departments, officials of the three committees, officials of related organizations like Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority and Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, officials of foreign embassies in India. Officials, officials of promoter organizations of the three societies and officials and representatives of national cooperative unions across the country will participate.
