A rally was taken out today from College Square to Dharmatala demanding punishment of the culprits and a fair investigation in this case.
Doctors as well as common people participated in this rally holding the Constitution and placards in their hands. Slogans like 'Justice needed' and 'CBI investigation should be conducted properly' were written on their placards. Many people raised questions as to why no concrete steps have been taken in this matter even after three months.
In this rally of junior doctors, those doctors also participated, who had earlier also fasted in Dharmatala and North Bengal Medical College demanding justice in the same case. They say that their agitation will continue until their 10-point demands are met.
R.G. A special exhibition named 'Gallery of Treason' has also been organized at Kar Hospital, in which posters, banners, photographs and poems related to the movement are being displayed. Members of the Junior Doctors Front are calling it a gallery of resistance, the aim of which is to bring before the people various moments of the movement and highlight the seriousness of the matter. This gallery also mentions the four-storey building from where the doctor's body was recovered on August 9 and it was alleged that vandalism was carried out there during that time.
Front members have said that the main objective of today's rally is to complete the investigation process of this case quickly so that the victim can get justice. In the rally, mainly allegations have been made against the CBI for negligence and negligence in investigating the case.
