Along with the presidential elections, senatorial and House of Representatives elections are also being held in America. Where elections were also held for 34 seats of the Senate and 435 seats of the House of Representatives. Nine Indian-Americans are also trying their luck in the House of Representatives.

It includes prominent names like Suhas Subramaniam, Ami Bera, Pramila Jaipal and Amish Shah. Out of which 7 candidates are contesting from Democratic Party and 2 candidates are contesting from Republican Party. Notably, while the Republican Party has won a majority in the Senate and is moving towards a majority in the House of Representatives, Indian-American Republican candidates have fared worse.

1. Suhas Subramaniam (Democratic Party)

Democrat Suhas Subramaniam won election to the House of Representatives from Virginia's 10th district. He defeated Republican candidate Mike Clancy. There is a large Indian-American population in his constituency. Suhas has been a technology advisor to the White House during the tenure of Barack Obama. He won election to the Virginia General Assembly in 2019.

2. Dr. Ami Berra (Democratic Party)

Democrat Ami Berra is leading in California's 6th District. He is facing Republican candidate Christine Bish. Ami has been holding this seat since 2013. He has been a member of the House Intelligence Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee. Berra dedicated his career to making health care affordable and easily accessible to the public.

3. Pramila Jaipal (Democratic Party)

Pramila Jaipal, who was trying her luck from the 7th district of Washington, has once again won the election. He got about 2.5 lakh votes, while his Republican rival Dan Alexander got only 43 thousand votes. Pramila won the elections from here for the first time in 2017.

4. Raja Krishnamurthy (Democratic Party)

Democratic candidate Raja Krishnamurthy has won Illinois' 8th district. His competition was against Republican Mark Rice. Krishnamurthy won the US Congress election for the first time in 2016. He served as policy director for Barack Obama. He is currently part of the House Select Committee on China.

5. Ro Khanna (Democratic Party)

Ro Khanna, the Democratic candidate from California's 17th district, also won. Ro got about 43 thousand more votes than his Republican rival Chen. Ro Khanna won elections from here for the first time in 2017. He is currently a member of the House Arms Services Committee.

6. Shri Thanedar (Democratic Party)

Mr Thanedar, an Indian-American Democratic Party leader, was contesting from Michigan's 13th district. There is a strong possibility of Thanedar winning, currently he is leading by 41 thousand votes. He faces Republican Martell Bivings. Earlier, he had won the election for the Michigan State House of Representatives from 2021 to 2023. He reached the US House for the first time in January 2023.

7. Dr. Amish Shah (Democratic Party)

Democratic Party candidate Amish Shah is leading in Arizona's 1st District. However, the contest here may be close as Shah is leading by only 4 thousand votes. Amish is running for the House of Representatives for the first time, having previously won the Arizona State Assembly three times. His parents had settled in America from India. Amish was born and raised in Chicago.

8. Dr. Rajesh Mohan (Republican Party)

Republican candidate Rajesh Mohan from New Jersey's 3rd District is trailing by about 19,000 votes, while Democratic candidate Herb Conway is expected to win. Rajesh is a doctor and quadruple board certified cardiologist with 20 years of experience. Rajesh has also been the CMO of New Jersey Hospital.

9. Dr. Prashanth Reddy (Republican Party)

While Indian-American Republican candidate Prashant Reddy has to face defeat. Here Democratic candidate Sherrice Davis defeated him by about 40 thousand votes. Prashant joined the US Air Force after the 9/11 attacks and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is a triple board certified physician. Prashanth moved to Kansas from Chennai in his childhood and graduated from a public school.
