Dominance of Indians in America, 36 candidates in the fray

Pramila Jayapal, the 59-year-old congresswoman who has represented Washington state's 7th Congressional District since 2017, has emerged as an influential leader in the Democratic Party. His re-election is considered almost certain. Raja Krishnamurthy, representing Illinois's 7th congressional district since 2017, Ro Khanna, representing California's 17th congressional district since 2017, and Mr. Thanedar, 69, representing Michigan's 13th congressional district since 2023, are also Indian Americans. These three states are considered strongholds of the Democratic Party and their victory is also considered certain.

After winning the Arizona State Assembly three times in 2018, 2020 and 2022, Dr. Amish Shah is contesting from the state's 1st Congressional District. He is challenging Republican nominee David Schweikert, who has won the election seven times. Dr. associated with Republican Party. Prashant Reddy is contesting from the 3rd Congressional District of Kansas. He is contesting from here against three-time Democratic MP Sherrice Davids. While Dr. Rakesh Mohan is contesting elections from New Jersey. He is from the Republican Party. The chances of Reddy and Mohan winning the elections are very less.
