IPL 2025 Mega Auction: All cricket fans are waiting for the big player auction for IPL 2025. However, now IPL has announced it. In a statement from its official X handle on Tuesday, the IPL said that the mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Most South African players registered
According to the information given by IPL, till November 4, 1574 players have registered for the mega auction. 1165 Indian and 409 international players are included. These include players from 30 allied countries. South African players have done the maximum registration for IPL. Their number is said to be 91.
46 players were retained
On October 31, all the franchises released the retention list before the mega auction. The 10 teams retained a total of 46 players. After this 204 players have become vacant. More than 1500 players will try their luck in the auction of these places.
