Ranking system will be implemented to strengthen health facilities in the state

Jaipur, 5 November (Hindustan Reporter). Ranking of all the districts will be done to strengthen medical and health facilities across the state. Fresh standards will be prepared for this. Districts will have to ensure that the standards set on the basis of various schemes and health programs are followed. If the performance is below the average level, the responsibility of the concerned officer and personnel will be fixed.

Principal Secretary of Medical and Health Department, Gayatri Rathore gave instructions in this regard in the review meeting held at Swasthya Bhavan on Tuesday. He said that all the districts should further improve the level of delivery of health services. Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this.

Rathod said that it should be ensured in all the districts that testing equipment and machines are used properly. If any machine is not being used due to lack of human resources, then personnel should be appointed as per rules on contract basis with immediate effect. Besides, it should also be ensured that new machines are installed with immediate effect. Maintenance of testing machines should be done from time to time.

The Chief Government Secretary said that the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana is an ambitious initiative with a view to providing free treatment to the common people. By implementing this scheme effectively, connect more and more people to this scheme. Hundred percent target of Ayushman card distribution should be achieved. Ayushman health camps must be organized on the appointed day. Along with achieving the target of 100% vaccination, its regular updation should be done on the U WIN portal. He said that to strengthen the medical system in the state and for ease of treatment, Abha ID should be made for all the people. This work should be completed on priority. He instructed to take action against the districts lagging behind the target.

While reviewing the progress of budget announcements, the Principal Secretary said that steps should be taken in mission mode to materialize the announcement of Model CHC in every assembly constituency. Necessary resources and services should be made available to these CHCs soon. He said that for security reasons, keep an eye on the entry of unauthorized persons in medical institutions. Through security personnel, ensure that only authorized persons including the patient and his family members enter the hospital.

Seasonal diseases were also reviewed in the meeting. Rathore said that despite the reduction in cases of seasonal diseases, one should remain cautious. Necessary activities for prevention should be conducted regularly. There should be proper arrangements for investigation and treatment.
