Maharashtra: After contesting elections 14 times, how many times will I contest elections now: Sharad Pawar

This big statement of Sharad Pawar has come before Maharashtra elections. Addressing a rally in Baramati, Sharad Pawar said, 'I do not want to contest any election. As far as elections are concerned, I should stop now and the new generation should come forward. Former Union Minister and veteran Maharashtra leader Sharad Pawar said, 'I have contested 14 elections so far, I do not want power, I just want to work for the society.'

Ajit Pawar targeted

Earlier this year, Ajit Pawar had targeted NCP leader Sharad Pawar and said that at this age he should stay at home, it is not known when he will retire. After which Sharad Pawar also turned away.

Voting will be held in Maharashtra on 20th November

Elections in Maharashtra are to be held on November 20, while counting of votes for all 288 seats will take place on November 23. In the 2019 assembly elections, BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena won 56 seats and Congress won 44 seats. Whereas in 2014, BJP won 122 seats, Shiv Sena won 63 seats and Congress won 42 seats.
