Raipur, 04 November (HS). Three people died on the spot while four others were seriously injured in a road accident that occurred due to burst tire of a speeding Bolero in Sargaon police station area on Raipur-Bilaspur highway in Mungeli district.
According to Sargaon police station, the people of Balodabazar-Hirmi had left for Bilaspur from Raipur this morning in Bolero. The tire of the speeding Bolero suddenly burst near Kirna village on the Raipur-Bilaspur National Highway, due to which the uncontrolled Bolero overturned several times and crashed on the other side of the road. In this road accident, three of the seven people traveling in the Bolero died on the spot, while the condition of four others is said to be critical. Who have been admitted to SIMS Bilaspur.
The cause of the incident is said to be potholes and rods protruding from the road, due to which the Bolero's tire burst and it went out of control and overturned. The injured have been admitted to the Community Health Center in Sargaon. Preliminary police investigation has revealed that the deceased were residents of Balodabazar. Police are trying to identify the deceased.
