New Delhi, 4 November (Hindustan Reporter). Party leaders under the leadership of Delhi State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Virendra Sachdeva today surrounded the Chief Minister's residence demanding reinstatement of bus marshals and civil defense personnel in Delhi. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and BJP leader Vijendra Gupta and other BJP leaders were also present in this demonstration.
On this occasion, Virendra Sachdeva said that today we have come to ask a question to Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. The Lieutenant Governor has directed to appoint bus marshals and civil defense personnel from November 1, but today is the fourth day and the AAP government is not reinstating them. That's why we had to come to the Chief Minister's residence.
Sachdeva said that we have a copy of Arvind Kejriwal's order by which the bus marshals were dismissed. He asked in a questioning tone that why did Kejriwal remove him?
The BJP President said that we have only one demand from Chief Minister Atishi that following the order of the Lieutenant Governor, an order should be given for the reinstatement of all Marshals and Civil Defense Volunteers.
Sachdeva said that Diwali was not celebrated this time in the homes of more than 10 thousand bus marshals and civil defense personnel, whereas Atishi Marlena was celebrating Diwali with her masters. I have come today to show them the mirror. These more than 10 thousand bus marshals and civil defense personnel are not just a number, they are an entire family, who were fired with a single signature in October 2023.
He said that the way Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bhardwaj is committing 'hooliganism' at the Chhath Ghat of Greater Kailash. This clearly shows that these people are anti-Purvanchal.
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and BJP leader Vijendra Gupta said that AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal had ordered to terminate the services of bus marshals.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva and other party workers, who were detained for gheraoing the residence of Chief Minister Atishi demanding reinstatement of bus marshals, were later released.
